Eukaryotes have a much more complex cell structure than prokaryotes.
- Prokaryotes have a simple cell structure without compartmentalization.
- Eukaryotes have a compartmentalized cell structure.
- Electron microscopes have a much higher resolution than light microscopes.
Prokaryotic Cells/ Eukaryotic Cells
Prokaryotes: cells that do not have membrane bound organelles (bacteria or unicellular organisms)
Cell Wall: maintaining the cell shape
Plasma Membrane: controls what goes in and out of the cell
Cytoplasm: helps organelles move through the cell
Pili: connects the cell to other cell and bacteria
Flagella: locomotion (movement)
Plasmid: extra chromosomal structure presented in the bacterial cell
Ribosomes: This is where proteins are constructed
Capsule: Acts as a barrier
Nucleoid of DNA: Where the DNA and chromosomes are located
Eukaryotes: cells that contain membrane bound organelles (most multicellular organisms, such as us!)

The world that we inhabit is limited by the world that we see. Is there any distinction to be drawn between knowledge claims dependent upon observations made by sense perception and knowledge claims dependent upon observations assisted by technology?
The observations and the knowledge that humans have in life is very scarce. We as humans have a very small understanding on the scientific life that we live in. Technology has helped us understand the world that can't be seen from our eyes which is most of the scientific knowledge. Therefore every experiment that is completed with any technological help, (which is mostly everything) should be considered as knowledge assisted by technology.
